of Oregon, John Schmor has performed, directed and collaborated on
devising new works including: for the University of Oregon, This Ship of Fools, Kafka Parables,
and
Anonymous, and for
Creative Material Group Faust/Faustus,
ReMembering Wilde, and Blue Hammer. Schmor has
adapted and directed versions of Shakespeare including: Winters
Tale, As You Like It,
Romeo and Juliet, Tempest, and a zombie rendition of
Hamlet retitled Or Not To Be for the Lord Leebrick
Theatre Company, as well as A Midsummer Night’s Dream for
the U of O. Recent directing projects include: The Clean House, Metamorphoses,
Annelie in the Depths of the Night, bobrauschenbergamerica,
and
Telling – an innovative
performance in which military veterans and their family members
stage the telling of their stories for their communities.
